Cheney planning its future

imageOn October 8, the Spokesman-Review published an article entitled “Cheney planning its future,” covering the September 30 public workshop, as well as the entire Choices for Cheney comprehensive plan process. In it, comments are included from City Administrator Arlene Fisher, Council member Tom Trulove, and resident Exequiel Varias.

Foster town and gown cooperation

imageOn October 1, the Cheney Free Press published a staff editorial entitled “Foster town and gown cooperation,” regarding the need for City, EWU and community members to work together to improve the educational and economic relationship between Cheney and the university.

Though not directly related to the Choices for Cheney process, the article does cover many of the important issues the new comprehensive plan will need to address. Thought-provoking and well worth the read!

"Cheney seeking residents to get involved.."
